Discover Herleys Electric Catamaran Powercat 3400

A diesel-electric hybrid catamaran, the Powercat 3400 Catamaran from Herley Boats is New Zealand’s first on the market.

Hybrid power allows you to cruise silently on your electric motors and pick up speed using a diesel inboard motor. As a result of this technology, it is possible to travel further and for a longer period of time.

Herley’s distinctive approach to style, performance and usability was incorporated into this family cruiser designed by Roger Hill. There are two queen beds, a full galley, a separate shower and head, and a large open cockpit area on this large family cruiser. Long open water trips with short fuel stops are part of their design.

There are two twin cabins, an option for a third single cabin below decks, and a separate shower and head. There is plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing in the galley and the main saloon area. The spacious cockpit decks are accessed by sliding doors so that everyone can take part in the action. In addition to fresh water and BBQ stowage, the central island offers fishing necessities and seating.
